Introduction

The 3rd Badong International Geohazards Symposium (BIGS2021) will be held in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China, from November 26 to 28, 2021. Focusing on the theme of “Scientific Observation and Prevention of Reservoir Geohazards”, the symposium will be featured with 5 sessions, including science popularization education on geohazards prevention and control, new technology workshop on sophisticated modeling and analysis of geohazards, academic presentation, poster presentation contest, and field trip. The academic presentation includes keynote speeches and session presentations. The keynote speeches are 25 minutes, including 5-minute Q/A session. The session presentations consist of 20-minute invited presentations and 15-minute general presentations.
